Can all Candidates Actually Perform the Role

Our Candidates standing in Council Elections

Can they successfully perform the role of serving our community?

Can they

commit to this paid and essential public service for 4 years?

represent a mostly silent, disgruntled majority.

Are they experienced in thought and action, with leadership qualities?

Are they open-minded and are you willing to speak your mind,

Are they willing to stand up, if necessary, discuss and debate the contrary views of others?

Can they be persuasive and debate effectively?

For whatever reason and/or background, these candidates stand motivated to take up this role.

Use your vote wisely, there will no doubt be politically aligned candidates, there will no doubt be those standing to gain preference votes for others, and of course, those who stand for a personal agenda and or cause.

EGRRA Inc. stands ready to assist and advise the community.

Regional councils form the local element of State Government and our requirements in the regions are very different from city councils.

Currently, there is a strong move toward the centralization of decision-making in Melbourne, this will seriously reduce our ability as a community to influence decision-making in every aspect of local living. This centralization must not be allowed to happen.
