Regional councils form the local element of State Government and our requirements in the regions are very different from city councils.

Currently, there is a strong move toward the centralization of decision-making in Melbourne, this will seriously reduce our ability as a community to influence decision-making in every aspect of local living. This centralization must not be allowed to happen.

Advocating for improvements in local government, to seek best value for our rate dollar whilst striving to obtain the best services and infrastructure possible. 

Projects administered on time on budget to be of value to the community.  When appropriate having questions asked of our leaders and receiving full truthful answers.

Straight answers to straight questions from our leaders, open honest discussion with our elected representatives.

With your help as ratepayers and residents, we will advocate for policies and decisions that align with the needs and interests of all in East Gippsland.

Effective financial management is vital to ensure best value for our dollar. Keeping a watchful eye on your tax dollars expenditure, and holding local government accountable for their actions.

EGRRA Inc. believes Council should concentrate on necessary improved productivity and efficiency dividends.

If necessary, EGRRA Inc. will take a cause to the next level by active lobbying and publicity efforts together with any required legal action to protect your rights and the rights of our members.
